This Privacy Policy explains how Gensync, LLC ("Gensync," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information in connection with the gensync.ai website (the "Site"). Gensync is an AI transformation consulting firm based in Denver, Colorado, and the Site exists to describe our services and let prospective clients get in touch.
This policy covers information collected through the Site only. Information exchanged during a paid consulting engagement is governed by the separate written agreement that covers that engagement. If there is a conflict between this policy and a signed client agreement, the signed agreement controls for that engagement.
Information you provide. When you contact us by email or book a call through our scheduling tool, you voluntarily provide information such as your name, business email, company, role, and the contents of your message. We treat this as business contact information.
Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site, we collect limited analytics data through Google Analytics 4, including an anonymized IP address, pages viewed, referring URL, approximate location derived from IP, browser type, and device type. We use only essential cookies and analytics cookies; we do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Information from third parties. If you book a meeting, Calendly collects the scheduling information needed to place the meeting on our calendars and sends it to us. Calendly processes that information under its own terms and privacy policy.
We do not collect Social Security numbers, government IDs, payment card data, precise geolocation, biometric data, or other categories of sensitive personal information through the Site.
We use the information described above for the following business purposes, which align with the purposes enumerated under the CCPA/CPRA:
Service providers. We share information with vendors that help us operate the Site and our business, acting as our service providers or processors. These currently include Google (analytics), Calendly (scheduling), Vercel (hosting), and our email provider. These providers are contractually limited to using the information on our behalf.
Legal and safety. We may disclose information if we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, enforce our agreements, or protect the rights, property, or safety of Gensync, our clients, or others.
Business transfers. If Gensync is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to customary confidentiality protections.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, as those terms are defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act and California Privacy Rights Act. We have not done so in the preceding 12 months.
We use a small number of essential cookies required for the Site to function and analytics cookies set by Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate traffic patterns. IP addresses collected through GA4 are anonymized.
You can control cookies through your browser settings and can opt out of Google Analytics specifically by installing Google's opt-out browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. Most modern browsers also honor a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, which we treat as a valid opt-out request where applicable.
California residents. Subject to verification and legal exceptions, you have the right to: know what personal information we collect, use, and disclose; access and receive a copy of that information; request correction of inaccurate information; request deletion; opt out of sale or sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising (note: we do not sell or share); limit the use of sensitive personal information (note: we do not collect categories that trigger this right through the Site); and not be discriminated against for exercising your rights.
EU/UK residents. Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and objection to processing, as well as the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Our legal bases for processing are legitimate interests (responding to business inquiries and operating the Site) and consent (where required for analytics cookies).
Authorized agents. California residents may use an authorized agent to submit requests. We will ask for proof of authorization and may need to verify the underlying request with you.
To exercise any of these rights, email hello@gensync.ai with the subject line "Privacy Request" and a brief description of your request. We will acknowledge receipt and respond within the timeframes required by applicable law. We may ask for information to verify your identity before acting on a request.
We retain inquiry and booking information for as long as needed to respond to you and to maintain reasonable business records, typically no longer than three years from last contact unless a longer period is required for legal, tax, or contractual reasons. Analytics data is retained according to the default retention settings we configure in Google Analytics 4.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information collected through the Site. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If you believe your interaction with us is no longer secure, please contact us immediately.
Gensync operates from the United States, and information collected through the Site is processed in the US. If you access the Site from outside the US, including from the EU or UK, you understand that your information will be transferred to and processed in the US, which may have different data protection laws than your jurisdiction. By using the Site, you consent to that transfer where consent is the applicable legal basis.
The Site and our services are directed to businesses and business professionals. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact hello@gensync.ai and we will promptly delete it.
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top and, for material changes, provide additional notice on the Site. Your continued use of the Site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
Questions, requests, or concerns about this policy can be directed to Gensync, LLC, Denver, Colorado — hello@gensync.ai.
